For those of you who don't know...

Hi All, its Becca, your daughter, sister, cousin, classmate, niece and friend. Just in case you have been living in a small dirt hole for the past 6 months, i thought i should inform you that I am going New Zealand. Yes, folks, that's right, Becca is exiting the country for a full 5 and a half months. I decided to get off my ass and go when my good friend from high school went last spring. It was, to say the least, a swift kick to the uninspired rear. Why shouldn't I go? I've always wanted to, and is there any place more beautiful? I'm sure most of you who know me at all are questioning my secret motives, but I can assure you that 90% of my time will NOT be spent hobbit hunting. I am leaving the east coast on January 1st, 2005 and driving across the United States in a record 4 days with my friend Krista and her boyfriend Brian. Krista is moving to LA and i decided to hitch a ride since i was planing on spending January in LA with my brother anyway. The trip should be anything but boring, because, you know, cabin fever? Awesome. The itinerary is as follows, La for january, then on february 4th i fly to Hawaii to visit a fmaily friend for 10 days, then on February 14th i fly over the international date line to the wonderful city id Auckland located on the north island of New Zealand and attend the University of Auckland until the end of June. At the end of June my sister suzie will be flying out to meet me where we will take a whirlwind adventure, fear factor style to Sydney Austrailia in early July for 10 days and return to LA on July 16th. In those 5 moths I will be sending you all, my friends and loved ones monthly emails, you just saying what ive been doing, where ive been going, all that jazz. If you really dont care, just drop me an email and I will take you off the list (and then put you in a different list...a special list...i mean, no i wont). Anyway, I am planning on creating one of those online photo albums, if I can figure it out, so I will get you the address so you can visualize my awe inspiring discriptions.
