Roadtrip part One: Boston to Virginia
On the mornning of January 1st, Krista, Brian and I headed south to begin out 4 day roadtrip to Los Angeles. The plan was to leave boston and go to NJ to brians house for lunch then to Wythville Virginia for the night. The whole trip should take about 12 to 13 hours. No Problem. So at 7am we left east boston and arrived in Freehold NJ at around 11 o clock. By the way, there are so many tolls in NJ, like every couple of miles. Its as if they want to make sure we know we are in Jersey...dont worry, we knew. We got to Brians and met his mom and adorable brothers and sister. After some time at home we went out for pizza at a restraunt where Brians aunt works. OK, if for some reason you are in Freehold NJ, go to Federici's, the Pizza is amazing, and Brian's Aunt is very cool. At around noon or 12:30 we headed back to the open road en route to Virginia. This is when i drove, the weather was amazingly mild, this however was not going to be the end of our surprising weather situations. Once we hit Virginia, Brian took the wheel and we headed to the free room waiting for us at Motel 6, complements of Brians Uncle (thanks, by the way). HAHAHA, sounds easy right? WRONG! the directions given to us were less than correct, we circles exits 71-75 for about 3 and a half years looking for this freaking motel 6. By 7 we found the correct route, checked in. The like good college students we went to Wendys. When we got to our room, we were greated by one big bed, so like good college students we planned to spoon. just kidding. maybe. We settled in at around 8:30,turned on the TV and fell asleep. Next stop Little Rock, Arkansas.
