Roadtrip part Two: Virginia to Arkansas

We woke up at 4:30 to get on the road by 5. I was the first driver, becasue i am much better driving in the dark when i know it will be getting light soon than at night in the dark when there is not hope for sunlight. So after a quick stop at Waffle House for some coffee we were back on the road headed west towards Little Rock Arkansas. HAHAHAHA. not so easy. Once we got on I-40 i couldnt see more than 50 feet infront of me. There was so much fog; fog like i have never seen before. I was going about 40 miles per hour for a good two hours, just waiting for the sun to come up, little did i know, i would be experiencing an extreem form of de ja vous in about 24 hours. At 7:45 we stopped for breakfast at waffle house where we saw a woman with the most amazing mullet this side of the mason dixon. We left satisfied and hit the road. Krista was driving and it had begun to rain. Hours later we stopped for gas and it was still raining. We switched drivers in Arkansas and headed to the warm house of our college friend Jennie May. We got to her house at around 3:30. JennieMay's house is beautiful and her parents are so nice. We wer early so we went out to sonic for a snack and a little driving tour of Little Rock before dinner. It was still raining but not to heavily. Before dinner we cleaned up and her friend came over to hang out. Dinner WAS AMAZING. Thank you so much Mr. May! We had stuffed pork serloin, potatoes, stuffed bread, and salad. Way better than everything else we had eaten. After dinner we watched Saved! to prep ourselves for our drive through the midwest bible belt. By 9:30 we were in bed. So Sunday's weather; foggy and rainy. Monday, Arkansas to Albequerque? i dont think so...
