SUNSHINE!

Today was the first day of sunshine in a very long time. It was fantastic. It was so fantastic that i decided to wear a skirt in celebration, hooray for sunny California, i knew you had it in you.
I was very 'hollywood" today for someone who is not at all close to "the business". I sat in a coffee shop and worked a script with my brother Ben and his writing partner, Ben. I dont care if this makes me lame but i had a hollywood moment and i loved it. It may have just been the sunshine. Tonight we are going to Azami, a great sushi place on Melrose, Ben and Ben know the sushi chef, so its always a good time. Now that its not raining and the mud has all slid, I think I can actually begin the LA part of my trip. I plan to walk around a lot. I was going to buy a bike, but time is running short and there may be no point, but if i see one...
Oh, i went to Laguna Beach the other day to visit a friend from school, yes the same Laguna Beach that MTV has infiltrated and turned into a "reality show". It was surprisingly quaint for being one of the wealthiest towns in California. The drive there was beautiful, rainy but beautiful, very rolling hills of Jurassic Park, though no dinosaurs to my dismay. But seriously, the town is a very artsy-surfer, independantly-owned, swanky-yet-tasteful, barista-loving beach town. Get it? I would move there if I was rich and famous. Ok, time for sushi!
I am sorry there isn't much to report, i really have been cooped up inside watching the rain leak through the roof. I will keep you updated however, now that its sunny.
